Steve grew up in the northern Appalachian Mountains. There he enjoyed the beauty and simplicity of nature and life. He was a typical country boy and enjoyed this lifestyle very much. Steve started writing poems and short stories during high school. There were experiences during his youth that were difficult but have enriched his understanding of life and humankind immensely. Steve spent over three years living practically out of a backpack as he traveled from place to place; working as a farmer, convention coordinator, bartender and D.J. He studied Marketing and Management in college.
During this period Steve decided to enlist in the Army to learn about the world and finance his college education. He continued his college education in Europe. There his academic interests shifted slightly. He concentrated on Psychology and Humanities. Steve had the opportunity to participate in various writing contests and various other projects during his education.
Steve has lived in Europe for many years. These experiences have nurtured and expanded his understanding of human existence. The first-hand experiences with many different cultures have given him insight into human nature and behavior. Steve desires to experience life on a one to one simplistic basis; engulfed in life and not separate from it.
His decision to write as an author occurred in the autumn of 2014. It was not really a decision; it just happened. There was a voice within him that said “It is time to write. It is time to share.”
He is involved in sharing, learning and growing with others; who are embracing a level of human consciousness that is attuned with universal consciousness. Steve is interested in aspects of human existence relative to consciousness, universal energy and life awareness.
