So several of the pictures which show up throughout my e-books (benefit of the format over print books) are real pictures I either snapped with a cell phone or they are public domain images pulled from a site like snappygoat.com. In one instance, I needed a child's drawing of Kate Greene for the book Kate Greene of Earth (mybook.to/kategreene) so I went ahead and drew one myself. Give my abysmal lack of artistic talent, it does look reasonably like something Kate's charge as a babysitter would have drawn.
My son saw the drawing and decided to do his own silly little spoof of it, which is on the right. I guess my fake child's drawing inspired a real child's drawing. Glad to know I can be an inspiration to someone. :)
