There have been many times when I have really lacked the motivation to finish my book and right now is one of those times. Yet even though I'm not very happy with it right now, I must continue. Why? Because I want to finish this and I have a long way to go. When I am done I can always go back and change something that I don't like. My life gets in the way a lot and I've got a lot of homework and doctor's appointments, errands to run, family responsibilities etc... But I will finish this book. I'm not even happy with the title. "On Borrowed Time". It's sounds like something I've heard before and I probably have. Hardly any idea is original anymore which makes it even harder to come up with something. I want to be different and when I was a kid, I had some really crazy ideas, but since those days other people have had those same ideas and then some. The stories that people are coming up with now are incredible and I applaud all of these wonderful and creative authors who don't mind pushing the envelope to tell a good story. It also makes me wonder why we are getting such crappy movies lately. I'm so tired of sequels and remakes. We have great story tellers out there who aren't being utilized. C'mon filmmakers and give us a chance. People are tired of recycled stories. Until next time...
