A Review of The Rannigan's Redemption Series by Pandora Spocks

I'm deeply involved in the Indie industry. Editing, Writing, Book and Cover Design, Marketing... I love helping authors publish high quality books. To be honest, I have no patience for those who don't even try. See, I love to read. The first picture of me holding a book, I was in the crib! So, sloppy books offend me on a personal level. To me, it's no different than serving spoiled food in the restaurant.

imagePandora Spocks can sure write romance. It's fun to read, steamy, but it's more than just the usual predictable erotic romance novel. Reminds me of Fifty Shades, but much better written. In Rannigan's Redemption, Maggie the heroine is a lawyer. Newly graduated, she was attending a job fair when she sees the prestigious law firm of Michael Rannigan. Handsome, successful, rakish Michael, who changes dates like he changes clothes. She applies and gets accepted, working directly under Michael. She's attracted to him (like everyone else) but she's really not his type. She's also different from Michael's usual women. But while working together, he discovers that there's something about Maggie that pulls at his heartstrings. The attraction was there... can they resist? The struggle is a romantic story that will pull you in.

imageI've waited a long time for this sequel. It fed my thirst and then made me thirsty for more. This is a more touching story than Book 1. I liked how the author introduced a new player in Maggie's life. I liked how she added depth to Michael's character. In Running Rogue, we see Michael shedding his macho, womanizing facade. Something, and I'm not telling you what, rocked his world and all throughout the story, he was vulnerable... and that to me, is sexy. He wonders at his life and regrets the ties he's broken.

I just realized now what Rannigan's Redemption means. And this author is going to make us cry in Book 3. Start the series now if you haven't read it yet. Pandora Spocks is a sophisticated writer. Snappy, tight and effortless read.
