The first game is based on Murder Caribbean-Style. It incorporates questions about the Caribbean Islands, and during the play each player must answer a multiple-choice question to receive a clue. I hope people will enjoy learning something about the islands as they play. The game is designed for 4-8 players.
The second game is based on Murder on a Ghost Ship. The play moves individual players around a ship gameboard to find clues. It can be played by 2-4 players. I'll give you more details as I determine a launch date for the book.
Would anyone care to try one of the smaller games and give me feedback? I'm looking for a few volunteers.
Here is how it all started:
When I was asked to “write” a script for a mystery-dinner party to raise funds for a local charity, I almost turned them down. Then I reconsidered. Why not design a game loosely based on the old board game “Clue” and use characters and setting from one of my mystery novels?
The idea appealed to me, so I started organizing clues. Using public domain clip art and photos I gathered during the research for my book, I designed a “meet and greet” game for the party. I’m using the characters, paintings, and rooms from my novel
