When we arrived in Costa Rica, our first leg of the trip was a four-hour drive to an amazing eco luxury hotel, Rancho Pacifico, in Uvita. We stayed there for three days and on our final day, we stayed at the Xandari Resort and Spa. Since we had an early flight the next morning, we wanted to stay closer to the airport and Xandari Resort was the perfect location; only 6 miles from the airport.

The resort was a good size with many amenities like a spa, jacuzzi, pool, art gallery, ping pong table, restaurant, hiking trails and more. We wanted to take the short trail to one of the waterfalls, but unfortunately, it started raining.
