We were searching for a place to have a nice and chill Wednesday night when we came across Cheese Please. Cheese Please is a nice little wine bar that offers wine and cheese tastings and their online reviews were outstanding. We couldn't believe that we didn't stumble upon this place sooner with all the rave reviews.
Wine and cheese bar serving charcuterie. Their most popular wine is the Meiomi Pinot Noir
Cheese Please opened its doors six years ago and is owned by the delightful Michael and Carlos. They met years ago at a local running club and immediately hit it off. Carlos' job at the time, had him transferred to Amsterdam for a couple of years and in between that time, Michael would visit often. Each time, they would meet up in a different European country and would visit several cheese farms. One day, Michael proposed the idea of opening a cheese bar together in Florida and to his surprise, Carlos agreed. Since then, their wine and cheese bar has been very successful. Their passion for cheese and wine gave them the coveted title of Best Wine Bar in Florida.
Lots of yummy jams and jellys for purchase up front at Cheese Please
Our first wine pairing of the night 0 Cana de Cabra & Honey Comb paired with Penta, Blend of Five (Spain, 2013)
So what makes Cheese Please so amazing besides the fabulous owners? Everything! As soon as we walked into the cute bar, we were welcomed with such joy. There is a cute shop with wines, jams and trinkets in the front. As we made our way towards the back, there is a little bar that serves wine and charcuterie. At the very back of the restaurant is where the wine tastings are held.
