Delaney: And So It Began…is set in the very evocative city of New Orleans. Vincent Delaney is an ex cop turned PI. Delaney and bureaucracy were never going to be good bedfellows. The NOPD lost their best detective when they pushed him too far. Now he’s his own man and that’s just how he likes it. Until a child serial killer forces the dept he left to ask for his help once more. Against his better judgment he agrees.

Meanwhile he has to watch his back: Julian Boutte, a violent criminal Delaney put away,is out and set on revenge.

With a full caseload he doesn’t need another case: but how do you say no to a group of traders who are being extorted by the police. Where else can they go?

Why should you read it?…The editor had to read it 4 times to get corrections… the first 3 times she got caught up in the story and forgot to edit!

The Long Road From Rocker To Writer

What’s the strangest fan question or request you’ve received?

There was one time this lady asked me to pose in my pants for a charity calendar! Against my better judgment I went along with it, at least that’s what I’m telling the judge!

If you could co-write with anyone in the world (alive or dead) who would it be?

James Thurber, the American satirist, it would be a great laugh.

Tell me something nobody else knows about you (yet!).

I’ve kept this a secret all my life: I can yodel…it gets worse! I learned it from listening to Frank Ifield!
